Exterior Painting

Stucco, siding and trim painted to survive California sun — prep first, color second — in Los Angeles and all around it.

Sun-faded stucco is the default look of half the homes in Los Angeles and Orange County — walls that started out crisp white or warm tan and slowly bleached out under years of California sun. Add marine air near the coast, which chalks and dulls exterior paint even faster, and most homes are overdue for a repaint long before the owner notices.

Exterior painting is where prep decides the outcome. We patch, caulk and prime stucco, siding and trim before any color goes on, so the paint bonds to a surface built to hold it instead of covering up problems that show through in a season. Free estimates, an in-person look at your home, cleanup when we're done, and service we stand behind.

What's included

Every exterior job starts the same way: walking the house to find what the sun and weather have done — hairline cracks in stucco, caulking that has pulled away around windows and trim, spots where old paint is chalking or peeling. Those get patched, caulked and primed before color goes on, because paint over a bad surface fails fast no matter how good the paint itself is.

A good exterior repaint holds a clean, even line where colors meet — trim against stucco, garage doors against siding — and covers fully without the old color showing through in strong sun. Built to stand up to the specific abuse a California exterior takes: UV that fades pigment, and near the coast, salt air that chalks the finish faster than inland homes ever see.

How we work

Free estimate

We walk the exterior with you, look at what the sun and weather have done, and talk through color before any work starts.

Patch and prep

Cracked stucco gets patched, old caulking gets replaced, and surfaces get primed so the new paint has something solid to bond to.

Paint

Stucco, siding and trim get painted with clean lines where each surface meets the next.

Walkthrough and cleanup

We walk the exterior with you when it's done and clean up the site before we leave.

Exterior Painting by city

LA and Orange County are a hundred paint jobs in one — a Whittier family home, a Santa Ana storefront and a Long Beach apartment building each need a different crew mindset, and we bring all three.

Common questions

My stucco has cracks — do you fix that before painting?
Yes. Cracks and damaged caulking get patched and sealed before any paint goes on, since painting over them just hides the problem for a while.
Will the new color match what's there now, or fade the same way?
We paint the color you choose fresh across the whole surface, so there's no old, sun-faded color showing through — the whole exterior comes out even.
Does the coastal air near Long Beach affect the paint?
Marine air chalks and dulls exterior paint faster than inland spots, which is part of why prep and a quality finish matter more the closer you are to the coast.
